Stellantis Names Former Airbus Exec Chief Digital Information Officer

Stellantis N.V. revealed it’s introduced on previous Airbus govt Chris Taylor as the company’s new Chief Electronic Facts Officer. He’ll be on the lookout to assure the company’s electronic efforts go effortlessly.

Taylor will support with Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic program — disclosed before this 12 months.

In his new purpose, Taylor’s primary Stellantis’ transformation into a sustainable mobility tech enterprise, in accordance to Stellantis. He will build and employ its digital tactic and systems, though also getting responsible for improving upon IT job execution and organizational performance.

“Chris provides deep knowledge of reducing-edge digital technological innovation to guidance our complex enterprise demands, the two at Stellantis and for our consumers,” said Carlos Tavares, Stellantis CEO. “His background in cyber security, new business enterprise designs and client-centric alternatives will drive the business enterprise value we demand to satisfy our intense Dare Ahead 2030 targets.”

Tech chief

Though Taylor invested time at Airbus, his previous job was as the main transformation officer at cloud system creator, ServiceNow Inc. Prior to that, he was world-wide vice president at Airbus Team where by he led the electronic transformation and cybersecurity.

He’s also put in time with Qantas and Etihad Airways. Taylor responses to Xavier Chéreau, main human assets and transformation officer, and functionally to Ned Curic, main engineering officer, the corporation famous.

Taylor retains a Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
