A Mims partner and wife died in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Oak Hill, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office environment claimed.
Richard Parsons, 64, and Michelle Parsons, 52, died in the crash. They were riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on U.S. 1 about 8:30 p.m. in close proximity to Golden Bay Boulevard, approximately 1½ miles north of Maytown Highway.
The Harley-Davidson swerved off the roadway on to the appropriate shoulder and struck a pole, knocking each riders off the motorbike and into the street, deputies reported in a news launch.
Times soon after the crash, a southbound truck on U.S. 1 struck Michelle Parsons on the roadway, the information launch reported.

Each victims were being pronounced dead at the scene, and the truck driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
The crash investigation continues to be ongoing.
